Honestly. I'm between dropping this or continuing. I keep waiting for some out of hand drama, but it's just been build up and build up. I want it to get messy already. This book is reading a lot like The Guest. But then again. It's a relatively short read. HMMM.

AHAHAHA I read this book once in middle school out of spite bc I was banned from reading mature material. I remember reading this at night and stowing it away when asked what I was doing lmfao. Revisiting to see if I actually liked this book or liked the thrill of being rebellious and almost getting caught.

Lol. Sorry but I have one small gripe against making it up to our adult children for being unsupportive in their passions by spoiling the grandchild/ren. Doesn't fly with me and isn't a great lesson to pass on. Just apologize to your adult children and admit you were wrong.

I've cracked the cheat code. Now I can read AND crochet at the same time. LMAO idk why I didn't think to just access libby on my computer to make easy reading. Lovely intro so far. I can really feel the main characters frustration. Beautiful illustration.

Ngl I almost dnfed this book but then chapter 14 & 15 got me. I was so mad at Tammy's behavior before then but understood she acted that way for a reason bc abuse is no excuse. But like oooooo. I'm glad they're finally mending their relationship slowly fuckkkkkk.

Not a big update. I'm using audio books and the person chosen to read this got me messed up whenever he does women voices 😭💀 please just read it normally. Or hire a woman to read the the female characters??

I hate all of these characters decision making up to this point. June wtf?? The irony of June wanting to be freed of the restaurant and then she go and does that??? Villain era starting. Hudson tell the fucking truth?? Nina why did you take his dusty ass back?? Kit are you realizing what I'm realizing?? Lowkey this book is still moving too slow for me but it makes up for the small little twists and cliff hangers.

Finally making progress on this. I've been meaning to finish this since forever ago. Love the pace.

I loved Reid's Evelyn Hugo so much I had to try out her other works. So far it's a slow start like the ocean crashing down on the beach on a sunny hot day type of slow. Really hate Mick. Even more disappointed in June. Love how it takes place along side Evelyn Hugo's universe. Shame on Hudson and Ashley. I'm going to keep trucking on. I'm expecting some hot juicy gossip down the line.

DNF @60%it was cook at first bc a lot of aspects I could relate to, but it dragged on and eventually I forgot what I had read and lost interest. I tried picking it back up and forcing myself to finish it, but that's just wasted time I could read other books. Maybe I'll pick it up again at a later date.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. I hate reading women who really believe that their only importance is serving a man and being their property. Despite that I still find the characters interesting enough to continue reading. Critically, there's some issues. Leisurely, I've gotten to a point where it's finally picking up and will read til the end. I hope there's a good outcome.

Um wtf. From the very beginning I didn't like Kelly but then Alex???? Does she have romantic feelings for Ameerah?? And then Alex does that shitty ass move. Bruh. Everybody just need to leave Amerrah alone lmfaoo

So. I just peeped at the reviews and was surprised to see that this book has low ratings. I don't know much about phycology except the basics they teach you in your GENEDS. I'm enjoying it for how it is. It's like one big ole gossip lol. I'm at the stage where she's in grad school atm. I don't like David. Tbh sometimes I forget I'm reading a memoir and think it's just another fictional piece. Can't wait to finish!

I went into this book blind and reading it on audio DISCS. So picture yourself using CD players and listening on NORMAL speed. I based my assumptions on CH 1 alone and thought it was comprised of short stories. WRONG. CH 2 was so goddamn slow and boring and I still assumed short story. Until I got to Chapter 3! I AM SO HAPPY FOR NOT DROPPING THIS BOOK. Some things are questionable but I'm reading for leisure.

I finally have time to read this book and I'm loving everything as I knew I would.
