I don't think this book is for me, but I do appreciate how realistic the author frames it. I like how only the same species can communicate with each other and there's no cross communication from other species. I like how the author describes stuff through animal lenses. It makes the story emersive. Will finish it since it's a short book.

Trying this out bc google said it's similar to The Wild Robot. So far not liking the first person narration, but I'm seeing this to the end bc it's only 4 hrs long lmao.
