Bailey Decker is on page 144 of 288 of Thirteen Reasons Why
The author's style is choppy and conversational. All of Thirteen Reasons Why is in thought or conversation. Hannah's always talking on the tapes and Clay is either talking to someone or is in thought. On page 22, Hannah says "'So Justin, what's the math problem?' I asked. You weren't getting off that easy". And then it goes back to Clay. It says "Or maybe I'll take the tapes somewhere else. Somewhere private..."

...happened in case she didn't survive the flight. Then, finally there was a fuel leak so she decided to land afraid of what might have happened if she continued flying. What i think about this struggle and how she handled it was I believe she handled it like someone who knew very much what they were doing and she kept trying to fix the problems so she could keep flying but it was also very smart of her to stop...

....things that were going wrong with the plane and her adventure. There was turbulence after the first four hours of flying, then there was a storm that was only supposed to be temporary, but ended up being worse than predicted. Amelia climbed onto her plane to remove the ice, but it eventually cam back. Then she flew lower to the water to get away from the ice while she wrote in her journal about what...

A trait is she was brave because she wanted to fly solo. This trait made her influential because flying solo was a big deal and because for one she was a woman and there was a rare amount of women flying and flying solo and two because she never flew by herself for very long;a couple hours maybe but she was going on a flight for more than thirteen hours. A conflict she was facing was there were too many things...

A trait of Amelia is she is famous. Although she never thought she would be famous or a celebrity, she was in magazines and being interviewed for magazines like Cosmopolitan and covering topics about letting your daughter fly. A struggle was that not everybody was as enthusiastic or excited or congratulated her on her flying skills and what she did. And some thought she didn't deserve all the congratulations.

CONTINUED
The reason being a risk taker was influential was because too many of us wait around not jumping at opportunities that could change our lives forever and Amelia wasn't going to wait around even if there was a chance of her not surviving or making it all the way through. She was taking risks no matter the costs.

A trait of Amelia is a risk-taker. She is going on this expedition and before she goes she calculates her debt and everything that is in her possession to go somewhere knowing that this may be her last adventure or last time to see her family. A struggle she is facing is she is going on a risky flight but has never driven the type of plane she is flying in and I think it's great; she's being calm and brave about it.

(CONTINUED)I think that it was really good that she found that thing that she could use to kind of escape and focus on something else rather than what new stressful thing was going on in her life.

A trait that made Amelia influential was she was always breaking down barriers. There were few career choices for women at that time especially, for women aviators. There was a small amount of women aviators. She was proving that it doesn't matter if you are a woman, you can do anything a man can do;she was breaking down barriers. She is facing conflicts by flying;it was a way for her to escape from all the problems.
