still finding that romance isn’t really for me.

i read the back cover but not the front and thought this was going to be love stories from around the world featuring woc from all walks of life. while that is true to some extent, it’s in fact modern retellings of mythical love stories. i’m not a huge fan of a retelling, or of modernizing stories.

the easiest read i’ve had in ages lmao. will likely finish this tonight. a solid 2 star read.

reading this as it is a student assignment. not something i would ever pick up on my own and dnf isn’t an option. fingers crossed.

i want to finish this book but already the quality is much worse from the last book. i’m probably just going to skim it so i can count it as read. i need authors to start taking time to finish books, i can wait more than a year for something more on par with the first or second book.
