mini rant: i hate hate hate how the state of things has me worried about potential ai usage in recently published books whenever i come across something “weirdly” written :(
like i can’t prove it and it could genuinely just be human error/ebook formatting errors for that matter, but i don’t like this feeling :( :(

i must say reading this as a norwegian feels a little weird sometimes? the way the author writes kinda idealizes the nordics and that the answer to surviving winters/tough times ~must be there in the north~. idk how to put it, it just makes me feel a little weird?

i think that was the last of the mayfair file chapters and to that i say HALLELUJAH. truly a slogfest to get through, so much telling and next to no showing. inefficient storytelling methinks, there has to be a better way to convey the relevant information to the reader
