Reading them fall in love is so good ㅠㅠ I also love being in Ilya's head, he's hilarious and so down bad for Shane it's not even funny ㅠㅠ

I had to read this after watching the first 2 episodes of the series and so far, the adaptation's been pretty good! Ilya is so funny and gone for Shane os hilarious

The chemistry is off to a great start and it's so entertaining to read about them flirting fmdmdmdn

It reads quite fast... although the whole escape room with a "killer" thing kind of freaks me out 😅

Just SO good. I truly love the flirty banter. However, the main couple getting together in the 3rd book? I can't hell but wonder about the horrors ahead when there's 2 books left (for me).

I really love stories like this (political intrigue and war arcs ftw), and I'm so glad I can now just binge-read the last 3 books!

Mo Ran carrying his mom's corpse and then jumping into the grave he dug for her while crying to be buried with her? Meatbun, you evil, evil author...

Of course, the sweetness couldn't last a whole volume ㅠ_ㅠ I thought I was done crying over wontons, but I guess not jfc Chu Wanning and Xue Meng being Mo Ran's defenders? Love that. Also, Xue Meng calling Mo Ran "Ge"? ㅠ_ㅠ All I can do is cry...

The sweetness between Chu Wanning and Mo Ran makes my heart feel so warm, although CW having apparent flashbacks of the past makes me uneasy. Mo Ran is also one of my all-time favorite gothic characters, ngl. Xue Meng calling MR "Ge" had me shedding tears in didn't know I could shed for a character like XM... I truly am a sucker for any semblance of a sibling dynamic.

I know this sweetness won't last, but I'm savoring every second of it ㅠ_ㅠ They're so cute! Chu Wanning deserves to feel Mo Ran's love, and Mo Ran being able to bask in this love is all I want for them ㅠ^ㅠ

Well, that made me cry a lot more than I thought I was going to... Xie Qincheng's heart being moved by He Yu's "I can't live without you." They're too much for my poor heart...
