Crawling along. Just not in the mood to read a classic rn… love my girl Fanny though

Picked up my girl Jane for the first time in 3 weeks. And I must say this one is so good with the foot-in-mouth moments

Unfortunately, I do feel inclined to finish this series, but it gets more silly with every book

Was the last book terrible? Yes. Did I still immediately pick up the next book to find out what happens to all of these people? Also yes.

I was very hopeful for this because I’ve heard so many good things, but I’m struggling to get through it. Way too much exposition! And now that it’s picking up, I don’t know what’s going on because the background just couldn’t hold my attention

This is good so far but I can only stay awake for about 2.5 pages so it may take me a year to finish it

Spite reading at this point. This reads like a 10th grader tried to write a novel on wattpad. There has been absolutely no character development so I could not care less about either of these characters, but the husband is such a condescending wet blanket.

Really enjoying this. Historical fiction novels of strong women, particularly women in medicine, never fail!!

DNF’ed this time last year at 50%. Giving it another shot!

Sybil is sweet and a bit kooky but ooh if we do not have the same exact taste in books
