Is romance back!!

I trieddd to read it I got two chapters in and have now switched to audiobook lol. Maybe will try a read and listen along. So far reflecting on her statements that superiority& exclusion don’t serve us even as minorities. Superiority& exclusion of anyone is copied from system of white supremacy

Havent been able to put this down since Monday! Loving the accessibility and realness of the characters and dialogue.

Giving this one another go as an audiobook! Only 2 and a half hours listening so I think I can knock it out on the commute

Finally returned this one to the library DNF 🫥😵‍💫 this is not the quarter for random nonfiction clearly, maybe I’ll pick it up again in summer.

Sorry I’m not updating here I’ve been 1) not reading as much unfortunately and 2) tracking what I am reading on fable 😪😔. Anyway I’ve been enjoying this book! Was skeptical it was gonna be too rah rah pro war machine but Kristin Hannah is such a masterful storyteller and (I should’ve known) does a great job of teasing out the nuances of the time. More laterrrr

Im actually 1/3 of the way through the second video section of this (shoutout YouTube audiobooks!)

It’s a bit more on the nose with metaphor than I thought it would be lol

I love how each section is a zoom in on a characters story, it keeps the pace moving and the feeling of waiting for a character you like to come back into focus is very gratifying

Greek myth retelling magic never misses! I’m really loving the writing and the narration on this one. I didn’t know a lot of pre Trojan war history so the setup has been great. It adds a lot to my anticipation for a good ending
