Opens with a rape -- not a main character, but I have been avoiding rape scenes lately and that startled me a bit.

I get it.....the author is anti-abortion. Everyone has an opinion and that is cool, but when you write it into a book like this, you completely alienate me as a reader. I hope to finish this book, but I won't buy another one from this author.

Wow, this book is RIDICULOUS (in a good way).

The timeline is off. At 38% Indi said she had 10 weeks left and then at 40% she says she is 13 weeks pregnant.

Ok, I dismissed the cookie tasting semen in the first book, but here it is in the second book too!

I am curious just how many times this author is going to use the word taut....

Pretentious.....so very pretentious. Between the flowery prose and the seemingly unending wine descriptions, I am just getting annoyed with this book.

"Lord Cheeto" Lmao. You know, I don't require my authors to be on the same page as me politically, but it sure feels good when they are.

Wow, she literally used the phrase "blind as a bat."

Also, I could be wrong but it really feels like a sighted person writing how they think a blind person would feel. I just find the descriptions to be unbelievable for a person who was born blind. How can you miss something and be so ill-adjusted when you have never experienced sight?!?

Hopefully this story gets better because right now the writing is pretty elementary, the characters are insipid and the storyline is pretty unbelievable.

Holy sh*t. It just got real. Wow. This story was all puppies and rainbows and then all of a sudden it smacks you. wtf

Kind of bored....

Well, I am kind of bored and I was thinking of bailing out on this one, but I am most of the way through....... but .....there are 2 more books after this.....do I really want to continue?!?

This book is so flipping good I am mad at myself for not starting it earlier!!!

Honestly, I am so sick of hearing about the paragon of virtue that is Sybil and I just want this book to be over. It makes me sad, but I am so bored with this.

I am trying to keep an open mind, but the characters are 18 & 19 and there are a lot of typos (e.g. ghoul instead of gaul).

I don't like how quickly the characters changed their minds. Doesn't work for me.

I am struggling with thinking of Lexie as an adult. Between her actions being rather childish and the fact that she is a child in the two other books she has been in, I still think of her as a child.
