"Each one of us matters, has a role to play, and makes a difference." This quote stood out as a symbol of Goodall's discussion about how each of us have to help save our planet and the animals living in it.

"Alas, all of these amazing discoveries have led to a belief that every wonder of the natural world and of the universe -- indeed, of infinity and time -- can, in the end, be understood through the logic and the reasoning of a finite mind" I liked the discussion about how modern scientific discoveries have led us to focus on science and neglect religion and think that the two are mutually exclusive.

"Together the chimpanzees and the baboons and monkeys, the birds and insects, the teeming life of the vibrant forest, the stirrings of the never still waters of the great lake, and the uncountable stars and planets of the solar system formed one whole." I liked this quote because it brings together the idea that we are more similar than we think and that all life forms are part of our world.
