why do I have a feeling that it's not tala that was rescued? Please let it be tala and not one of his other girlfriends.

Now I sort of feel like all this mate bond talk is foreshadowing. Especially, with Luna willing to go with him. Now, I'm worried for her heart. What if he does find his fated there? Maybe there is no second chance for her. I can already feel my heart want to break for her. She's been through so much already.

I do think that he does need to at least look for a fated mate, in case I'm wrong. Luna said that she wouldn't survive being along for the ride and then his mate show up. It's true. It would absolutely hurt her now that she is pregnant. What would he do with her kid? Would he love it the same? He needs to go look, just in case, and rip the bandaid off before it becomes infected.

I'm pretty sure that his mother had all this orchestrated before the take over at the moonmate ceremony. I believe it's the reason that she was hanging out with Kate all that time. Also, I wonder if she is helping Marnet. She was quick to judge Luna and she doesn't peg me as someone to think without thinking. And, she saw her son have an interest in her. Still think that maybe they are fated. If not, it will be sad.

Okay, I wasn't going to say anything but I need to here. First, I think that they are mates and that is why they are drawn but Marnet is still around and hasn't officially rejected.

Now to the reason, I am saying something. As someone that has lived in OKC most of my life, it most certainly DOES have a river. On top of that, there is a canal right in the center of bricktown in OKC.

Things are kind of contradicting right now. Spoil alert*** Earlier in the book it says that she doesn't have the devil's eyes but he knew of someone else's eyes that she has. Now, though, she's the devil's child. Kind of confusing.

Spoiler** The very first time I read this book, I was so happy at this part. I soo wanted Hilfred and Arista to be together. I knew he loved her just by the way Arista talked about him in the first few books. When he went into a fire to save her, then almost died to save her mother for her, I knew it. When she gave Emery hope, I knew it could be possible. I wanted it. But, now I know what happens. It's still hard.
