How old are the characters supposed to be?
I am not sure if it is Stewart's writing style in general or a choice that was made for this book, but some of them sound like 16-year-olds.

Reading this for the r/fantasy bingo 2022 category weird ecology after I dnf Book of Koli. Seems fine so far, I am very interested in how this is supposed to fit the prompt though xD

My first big book by Stephen King.
I already read some short stories, The Mist, The Gunslinger, Mr Mercedes, and Carrie by him and I liked most of it (loved, in the case of Carrie).
This one is so interesting. I finished part 1 and I am very interested in how the story progresses

Ah. I love Neil Gaiman.
I loved his short stories a lot and I think I will love this one as well. The illustrations are gorgeous and I really enjoy the weird characters I already met

I finished the main part of this book (the story called The Bloody Red Baron) and move on to the novella and the other stuff

The first 100 pages were promising but I think this book will end up somewhere around 3 pages

This book gets only worse with each page. And this is......this is not Henry Jekyll. Jekyll might be horrible (because he is after all an unreliable narrator in the novella) but nope....not that horrible.

This does not get any better in regards to Hyde's characterisation....
*sigh*

Hydes characterisation annoys me to no end but I don't want to dnf this because I was so excited

Yep.
I like this.
But not the new female main character.

Not liking the characterisation of Levine's Hyde at all....
