It might be just because its at the start, and it might be just that this is technically YA and I'm out of practice with it, and since its for a younger audience things are spelled out more clearly. But this is a lot of Telling and Not Showing. Still not The Honey Witch bad yet....

I feel like there's just a hint of Ender's Game influence in this.

I think this ending might of landed better if I didn't have to take a month long break because I ran out of listening hours.

It has certainly picked up a lot, definitely enjoying it, but everything with her brother isn't quite landing for me

Its really good so far, its so beautifully dense, I might have to wait to get a physical copy so I can better absorb information. I'm going to give it until tomorrow though.

This is very good, and maybe its just how my day is going I feel like I keep missing things with the audio book and I really want to get the most out of it.

So it might DNF for now I'll try to see if I can read a text copy when I finish the books I have now.
