It's slow going. Almost a daily update of all sides opinions about what move to make next. TMI --- I'm surprised they ever won WW2, considering all the opposing viewpoints of the leaders ...from the top level down.

Stopped reading at Chapter 5. This reads like a Romance disguised as a police detective mystery. Very high schoolish! Ugh!

Finished Murder on the Run. I liked the ending. I'm not much for drug dealer stories though, sp I skimmed through parts of it. Lots of running over hills, fells, and rocks. I'm not a runner.

In this Box Set, I have finished reading Book 11, Murder Mystery Weekend. This was a good mystery, very involved. It went in many directions, none of them what I expected.

Juggling too many books so have only read the Prologue so far. I'll start back to it very soon. I have loved Harry Grimm and all the characters in these books.

LeAnne is 22% done with Let Them Eat Shrimp: The Tragic Disappearance of the Rainforests of the Sea
Published in 2011. Seems to be a much older version of email. May have been scanned from the National Geographic article in which it first appeared. Easy to read though.... format is more simple, no chapter listing or other features I'm used to.
It is most interesting to learn about how important the mangroves swamp lands are to the environment & seriously they are threatened by the expansion of shrimp farming.

A !omg read but worth it. A good mystery... serious, but not scary or dark. The Inspector Madden series. Best to read in order.

An interesting read that covers a range of times, people, situations about pre-printing era, then the early times of printing, the religious problems with the Church leaders. I'll get back to the book later...this is one of those interesting subjects that I need to take a break from. So when it gets boring, time to change subjects and genres and come back to it when I'm ready.

The next to the last Travis McGee story and one of the very best ones, perhaps THE best. I have read almost all of them. A page turner.

My first time to read the Bryant & May series and I really love it. I haven't yet figured out who did it. I like to begin a series in order so that I can see the development of the characters. Arthur Bryant is quite a character.

About half way through & so far I like it. Much description of locations and characters but since one of them is likely the murderer, I'm trying not to skim. After reading some of the reviews and seeing comments about several murders when so far there's only been one, I can't guess who the other unfortunates will be. It seems that half of the reviewers gave it 2 to 3 stars and half gave 4 or 5 stars. Like it or not.

I am trying to make sense out of this story, but have reached Ch. 12 and if it weren't for the brief synopsis on the back cover, i wouldn't have a clue! I've read the reviews on here and some feel the same way. Yet some had nothing but praise for the marvelous story. I have read and enjoyed many Campion books. What am I not understanding? Do I want to waste anymore time on this book?

After reading the 1, 2, & 3 star reviews, I'm having second thoughts about wasting my time reading the "Crimson" story. They don't recommend this one. They're calling it one of his weakest stories. Hmmmm

Finished reading the first of three classic mysteries.
1) Police at the Funeral by Margery Allingham
Allingham was in a class with Agatha Christie. A good old fashioned 1930s mystery. I loved it.
