I'm not sure if hysterical laughter was what the author was going for in Chapter One but Howard and the way SB Rogue described the events had me rolling.

It also could have been because I was reading at 4am but I got such a cackle out of the whole thing.

I’m DNFing. They turned Starling into a dumb as hell doormat and Sebastian is a bit too forceful for my taste

Over 160 pages with only two phone conversations and a bunch of texts to get to this first meeting and it is NOT disappointing!

Mind you the first 160+ pages were GOOD, not bored at all but that long without a meeting gets a reader really hyped up so the payoff has to be excellent and so far I'M LOVING IT!

I am obsessed with this story. I have not been bored ONCE in the 400 pages I have read so far. H.M. Wolfe is such a skilled writer.

Can’t wait until I’m off work tonight so I can finish it! Although I suspect the cliffhanger to book two will finish me AND probably put me in a reading coma 😭

I swear only Elle Mitchell can make me question my triggers (and my morals) instead of just powering through or DNFing because what the hell is happening ?! 😭🤣

I was surprised at how quickly the shift in Ryan/Pippi's relationship happened. If I didn't have to work tomorrow I'd keep reading to find out what comes next.

Gabriel is very unlikeable but I'm also still rooting for him to man up, figure his sh*t out and go get Jared already. LOL

Allie's god-awful situation from book one coming up again in book two and in the way it did was totally not expected. OMG

This book is SO good so far.

This might be better than Brutal Game and I rated that five stars. I'm loving this!

I thought maybe this book would be different. That I'd be able to read it like I normally do and not be so obsessed. And then chapter 5 happened and I knew Elle Mitchell hooked me again. Holy Shit!
