I was surprised at how quickly the shift in Ryan/Pippi's relationship happened. If I didn't have to work tomorrow I'd keep reading to find out what comes next.

Gabriel is very unlikeable but I'm also still rooting for him to man up, figure his sh*t out and go get Jared already. LOL

Allie's god-awful situation from book one coming up again in book two and in the way it did was totally not expected. OMG

Mindy's indirectly responsible for all of this AND she's dumb as f*ck. I've never hated a female character more. If I din't want to know the ending and I wasn't so close I'd DNF this damn book. I'M SO ANNOYED!

I will give to Destiny Eve she fleshes her characters out. Sometomes to the point of boredom but damn I want to slap the sh*t out of Mindy. I actually wouldn't mind if... well let me shut up

I overestimated how good the next flashback parts would be. I'd DNF but I'm at 87% and now I'm finishing it out of spite

I'm still annoyed by the POV changes but this part two? The part where we get to the actually meat of the matter of what happened in the past?? Ok Destiny you've reeled me back in

If your book is going to be all about your ill fate high school romance WHY did you start it when the FMC is late 20s to early 30s and getting a divorce?! And then from page 11 to page 49 go from 1st person POV to 3rd?! FFS PICK A LANE!!! I'm so hate reading this book right now

If the Silencer isn't who I think it is I'm going to throw my kindle... not really but they are telegraphing pretty hard and I just don't want another book to swerve away from a plot I really like at the last minute
