Haha. This book is so funny. I’m in public and laughed out loud during her drunken antics. The angst is real though. Harley is SO oblivious. 🙄

Sean is so decent and sweet. I admit I kind of like how awkward and prickly Ash is with her insecure thoughts on the inside and watching him handle her. Smoothing out their interactions. Really liking this!

Why is Diane her friend so extremely annoying? I hate when she’s in the scene.

Plus Megan- the oldest daughter. What a daddy’s girl. Total b—ch. she’s like poison and Phil the cheater is a control freak and hot head. Good for Lina to get away from him.

I hate how everyone is gaslighting her. Her mom saying it’s unnatural to be monogamous. Her friend Diane who knew but told her she was crazy when she suspected and now telling her to get over it. Phil- expecting her to just suck it up and move on. What an a-hole.

Oh my god. He’s such a douche. She just caught him and now she’s making him explain to her what’s going on. She just said: “Well, Ben… let’s have it… this well-planned break-up speech. You can skip the ‘It’s not you, it’s me’ part because it’s definitely you.” And he’s stumbling over his words and she just said, “This is a terrible speech.” I LOVE this woman! 😂

I share everyone’s sentiment that life is unfair in those times. The men seem to have all the power abd the women are property. Frustrating! John is surprisingly charming though

I love RLee Smith's humor. Meoraq's internal dialogue is so funny. Like when he decided only to give Amber part of his name when they first met because he may or may not be killing her later so decided he wasn't getting too formal with it/her now. Or how insulted he was when she mispronounced his name to the point it almost sounded like a derivative of the male genitalia. LOL. RLS is so good.

Liking this. Always wondered what happened AFTER the affair- if she takes him back. Is it really over for her? How does she deal with it? This book is about that and I LIKE her strength. HE is a definite moron- already moved on from it. I’m incensed on her behalf. I’m glad he’s been kicked to the curb. All these skanky women hitting on him is making me mad.

The sexual innuendos are cracking me up.😂

He’s an idiot and even though he’s better and trying to make amends, not sure it’s enough to make up for his terrible behavior before.

Oh so...I have stuck by this for 5 freaking books. I don't read it for the deep and insightful commentary on mental illness or dealing with family death/dysfunction and past trauma. This is what the book has become. It's bringing me down. I feel like it's nearing the end of Parks' and BJ's story and things are wrapping up but I swear... it's killing me. I am struggling to finish. Argh.

Still loving this series…. They have gone a long way since book 1 and I like how they are finally dealing with their issues. It’s like they are growing up and maturing. :)

This one is so much better. I love Parks in this. It’s made me laugh several times and the banter between BJ and her and their friends has been spot on. I still think BJ is an idiot but appreciate his efforts to change…

Uggh. Daisy and Christian ate boring. She has footnotes- something I normally love but with her they are just annoying. Please just kill me now.

There's no question this is a crazy ride but kind of confusing and hard to follow. I really liked this on my first read but that was a while ago. I have so many questions...mainly, what is happening here!?

I dunno. I don’t like the FMC. I find her annoying. I find the writing a bit too verbose. I’m sure if I listened to the songs while I read the chapters, I’d like it more but I find it distracting. Also, finding Reid a downer.

I am invested in finding out who she ends up with though.

OMG - I can see the plot twist from a mile away but it's like a car accident in slow motion. I can't look away. This is extremely messy. I LOVE it.
