Liking this. Always wondered what happened AFTER the affair- if she takes him back. Is it really over for her? How does she deal with it? This book is about that and I LIKE her strength. HE is a definite moron- already moved on from it. I’m incensed on her behalf. I’m glad he’s been kicked to the curb. All these skanky women hitting on him is making me mad.

The sexual innuendos are cracking me up.😂

He’s an idiot and even though he’s better and trying to make amends, not sure it’s enough to make up for his terrible behavior before.

Oh so...I have stuck by this for 5 freaking books. I don't read it for the deep and insightful commentary on mental illness or dealing with family death/dysfunction and past trauma. This is what the book has become. It's bringing me down. I feel like it's nearing the end of Parks' and BJ's story and things are wrapping up but I swear... it's killing me. I am struggling to finish. Argh.

Still loving this series…. They have gone a long way since book 1 and I like how they are finally dealing with their issues. It’s like they are growing up and maturing. :)

This one is so much better. I love Parks in this. It’s made me laugh several times and the banter between BJ and her and their friends has been spot on. I still think BJ is an idiot but appreciate his efforts to change…

Uggh. Daisy and Christian ate boring. She has footnotes- something I normally love but with her they are just annoying. Please just kill me now.

There's no question this is a crazy ride but kind of confusing and hard to follow. I really liked this on my first read but that was a while ago. I have so many questions...mainly, what is happening here!?

I dunno. I don’t like the FMC. I find her annoying. I find the writing a bit too verbose. I’m sure if I listened to the songs while I read the chapters, I’d like it more but I find it distracting. Also, finding Reid a downer.

I am invested in finding out who she ends up with though.

OMG - I can see the plot twist from a mile away but it's like a car accident in slow motion. I can't look away. This is extremely messy. I LOVE it.

The writing is nostalgic. Brings me back to when I was obsessed with the Opportunist and the love me with lies series. I feel like I can see TF's personality through this story and enjoy her sarcasm and view of the world. I forgot how much I like her. The pining of the characters for one another is pretty good too.

I have to say this. Luc, the leader of the resistance, and the remaining other higher ups, are COMPLETE MORONS. Stop being so self sacrificing and idealistic. Your moral high ground is going to get you and everyone else killed. Use your brains, you idiots. It is NO WONDER you lost.

OK. Now that that's off my chest, carry on...

This is the most depressing read I've had in a long time. Not only do people get extremely injured and tortured, they are healed and get to do it all over again. Dead people don't stay dead. This is DARK. I've had to read multiple books during this read just to cleanse my palate and keep going. I want to know what happens but this journey is KILLING me.

I'm always a fan of women who take charge of their life - esp after their dickhead husband who took her for granted now has to pick up the slack. He thought HE'D be leaving to shack up with his 20 something girlfirend? Nu uh, Helen has now gone to her awesome loft and met her hot neighbor. Harold, the idiot, is trying to figure out car pooling to drive his kids to school. It's good. Typical, but good.

I cannot get over the most recent McDreamy Bollywood reference. PLUS the fact that somehow Aiden is the only one able to take care of her. I left this a while ago and cannot make myself go back to it. Sorry.
