Here is the thing, I am Romanian. The hero, Rafe, is originally from Romania and of course he uses the language. Cat (the h) translates as "pisica" in my language but, and there is a big BUT, it's never used as as an endearment word in this form. So I have a cringe moment each time Rafe uses it 😬.
Dear Sarah, we use kitten (pisoi or pisoiaș).

The fact that all the other girls are all called sluts by the heroine is putting me off....

Not feeling it. Will probably end up in my DNF shelf. A poor imitation of The Golden Dinasty.

And now entering the DNF shelf. I hate it when authors sale their books without any edditing done to the text. It is disrespectful for the readers that pay to read it.
I am not sorry to say that I will request a refund for this one.

I am at 52% and struggling to finish it. Yeah, I loved the first two but this one is dragging on forever. But the most annoying thing that keeps me from touching it is the infamous word "vulgar". Really. It appears 10 times in this book but come on!!! These should be enough words in the English language to choose from instead of vulgar E.v.e.r.y.D.a.m.n.T.i.m.e.!!!!!

It's like reading an alien version of FSOG. Mia is down straight stupid. If I where the K I wouldn't even waste one minute with her.
The story has potential but it's lacking credibility, the dialogue feels choppy and forced.

I am forcing myself to finish it...Read so many great reviews of this series and I really thought that I will fall in love. Not. Anyway, I will come back after I finish it....IF I will be able to finish it.
What bothered me so far is that this is YA that seems to be written by YA.

DNF! Thank God it was free! It's like reading a cooking book or the screwdriver manual. No real feeling that we are speaking about humans and their life. I will not finish it because I have better things to do, like filling my nails or gazing at the starts (muuuuuch more entertaining!)

and I will not be finishing it. Didn't sparkle my interest at all...

Not my cup of tea... The dialogue seems forced. I didn't feel any connection towards the characters.
