It was going fairly well until the glossed over love scene. Kinda disappointed; that just killed the heat for me. That, plus other issues I have with the book--i.e. the heroine essentially calling her African American neighbour a giant gorilla (yeah, that sounds very P.C.), and the fact that the book feels long and I'm only 32% into it (another bad sign)--make this a candidate for my dnf shelf.

Ugh. Keane is such a douchebag.

Wow! The sexual tension is palpable. Love it!

Loving this so far! The writing style and characterizations are really drawing me in.

Another mistake: "weary" is used in place of "wary"

Elevator doors swing open, do they? I am being super nit-picky but I can't seem to help it.

"That shits dumb." - our articulate hero, Cage. I'm trying so hard not to be annoyed by the missing apostrophe...

A few errors so far, such as the sentence which describes how Cage's opponent "threw a few wild haymakers" that were "both off mark"--it can't be "a few" and two, c'mon--but, as much as mistakes like that irk me, I can forgive them... But misspelt words drive me absolutely nuts. What the hell is "bizerk"? The word is berserk. Berserk!!!

Love the two leads but I'm getting soooo fed up of the h's disgusting family. They're nuts!

Oh lawd! I dunno if I can get through this. The chemistry between the leads was so nice, and Smith writes some damn good sex scenes, but these side characters are killing my enjoyment of this book.

Why. Just, why.

I'm still less than halfway through, so I might have to bail on this... but we'll see.
