It was going fairly well until the glossed over love scene. Kinda disappointed; that just killed the heat for me. That, plus other issues I have with the book--i.e. the heroine essentially calling her African American neighbour a giant gorilla (yeah, that sounds very P.C.), and the fact that the book feels long and I'm only 32% into it (another bad sign)--make this a candidate for my dnf shelf.
