I can't keep track of this family tree. Too many characters. Maybe because I'm listening to the audiobook and that's not my choice. I prefer reading. I've just started audiobooks and just really hard for me to keep up. And it usually puts me to sleep

This book is hysterical. I gave myself a break from Katherine for a while as I read several of her books in a row. Do not recommend. I forgot how fun her writing is. Totally enjoying this book. And the setting of lovely Key West. Describing it to a T!!

I’m 249 pages into this 800+page book. I’ve never read a King book before because I hate horror…but this is not that. So far, one of the best written books I’ve ever read. Who knew. Recommended by a fellow book club member. This book had my interest from the first sentences….going to the beach today and just going to rreeeeaaaad.

Giving the author and book #2 of the series another chance. Don't really know why, tho.

Having a difficult time reading this book. I'm finding it very simplistic and fluffy. I've always wanted to read Karen Kingsbury because a lot of my friends do. But as I'm reading it I'm kind of liking her to the Danielle Steel of the non-Christian world. Meh... I guess I like books now with a little bit more substance in them but I'll try to finish it

Surprisingly not enjoying this. It's so much the same compared to his other books.

I’m on page 22 and I feel she has repeated herself SEVERAL times!!!! It’s killing me! I haven’t read her for awhile because, well, fluff...but this is absolutely ridiculous. Did no one proof this???? Don’t know if I can continue. So. Repetitive. Did I mention she repeats herself??😳🙄

Half way done and it seems endless... There is a slew of characters that you need a scorecard for to keep track. So far not a fan. I feel like doing something that I have never done and hate when people say they do and turn to the end to get it over and done with. I have too many books in my queue to read and I feel like I'm wasting my time.Disclosure:I don't care for this genre so that could be a part of my feelings

Not enjoying this currently.... She is bashing women's conferences as 'not really deep and la la' and I personally have learned and grown so much from several conferences I've gone to. And she is VERY repetitive...ugh... Only reading this as it is a book from a woman's group we are reading...

I am only interested in the story of the people, not the historical references which I know well...so it is slowing down my progress...
