And that's how you introduce an awful character and make people hate in in less than 2 pages. The movie was a lot kinder to Príncipe Humperdinck (and that's saying a lot)

Almost halfway in and I still have no freaking clue how the train system works or what it looks like (or even fathom how anyone could 😅). Guess I'll continue to play passenger princess until the end of the book 💅

That whole scene with the Elves and Dwarves is comedy gold. The fact that the Mammy Dwarf sounds Scottish sent me 🤣🤣🤣 I fucking love this series

Incredible how such an unhinged book can still hit you in the feels.

It can easily get me grinning and laughing out loud and almost as easily shedding a tear or two.

It has spunk, snark and soul. I love this series more and more with each chapter.

You gotta love a book that gets you laughing in the first chapter. Listening to the audiobook and it sounds like I am in for a treat 🤣

There are not nearly enough pages left for even a fraction of the things to be resolved. This is going to end on a cliffhanger isn't it? 😭😭😭

Chapter 19 is probably my favorite so far. Carrion is definitely my favorite character. This sassy, sexy troublemaker has suffered a lot, and to see him live life like that is proof that you never know what people have gone through. I love that they are getting closer like that

At the end of chapter one and I already know I'm going to absolutely LOVE this. Every Carrion and Fisher's interaction is chefs kiss

I already knew I'd be crying a lot while reading this, and it was always a bit touch-and-go for the first half of the book, but it seems that as soon as I reached that middle, the dam broke. Now there are tears in every other (or even every) chapter. Some are sad tears, some are awwww tears, some are this-is-so-cute tears, and almost always, there are this-is-breathtaking-written tears. I love TJ Klune so much.

It's always so satisfying to see dark, vicious, broody characters slowly turn into fuzzy teddy bears... 🫠

I'm so not ready to let them go again. Reading this is like coming home again, 16 years later 🥹

It's not every day that a book gets you hooked after a few pages, this one absolutely did - after a few paragraphs even. I'm loving this so much. The story is lovely and the writing stlyle is quirky and fun. Perfection
