Hal-way through. After the brilliant "Notes on a scandal" this is quite a drag. (But the pictures are nice).

This is a bit of a shock to myself. Me reading a this kind off book is pretty much impossible. But Crossword had a bargain sale and it costed Rs.5 so great ROI indeed.

While going through my memory I remembered watching (Very faintly) the 1996 movie adaptation on HBO or Star Movies when I was very young. This movie had Sophie Marceau starring as Anna. All was beautiful in the terms of cinematography. I vividly remember sitting down with my mother who said it was supposed to be a very sad story.

Madness! Joy! Passion! Madness! and all over again.

This is getting to a point where you are involved into Toltoy's world and no longer in yours.

Im a late bloomer. Its kind off irritating that I have not read many classics. But it feels good that I am reading them as an adult understanding the emotions and characteristics of these immortal beings. But still I ought to have read more classics. Damn it I haven't read anything by Jane Austen!!. Truly despicable of myself.

I suddenly remembered I have read works of Prabanjan, La Sa Ra, Lakshmi, Pudumai Pithannd Barathidasan. Kind off feeling happy to have read these works. :)
