okay. good things: 1. ilya's povs 2. how clear it is how much shane loves children?? that's CUTE

It's impossible not to compare it to the show and I gotta say that I like show-shane so much more... he has much more of a personality?? he's also more of a dork which I personally adore so there's that (both variants of ilya are good)

aight ok so this book has a LOT to live up to after watching the TV series. ready to be disappointed. I think.

ok the short story about shang qinghua and mobei-jun was great

I have thoughtssssssss. (Shen Jiu backstory- not super fun to follow; he's extremely unlikable. The story about Zhuzhi-lang was nice.)

I wonder if all the sex scenes will have this vibe...
