Ending a chapter with "and that, for better or worse, is where [friend's name] came into the story" and then titling the next section of the book "you can't fix stupid" is peak banter.

DNF. It's been on my bedside table for 2 years and I picked it up tonight because I paid money for this book at a next gen conference so many years ago, I have to read it, right? But then I got to this sentence: "[feminists] have brought about an enormous change in women's fashion, resulting in many women looking like soldiers in Mao's army!"

Nope. I give up. This author and her pearl-clutching are going in the bin.

Praying Fabio isn't the main love interest because the narrators attempt at an Italian accent makes me want to lightly crash my car

If Kyle doesn't get his comeuppance by the end of this I will RIOT.

Very cross to learn, after finishing the whole audiobook (and thinking 'gee I remember this book being longer') that I was listening to the ABRIDGED version. Now, for my own pride's sake, I have to go back and start again. Good thing it's an excellent book...
