This is a re-read. I haven't read this book since its debut and I'd like to see how I receive it with adult eyes. *crosses fingers*

I can't lie, I keep forgetting to read this book.

From page one we see that Jackie didn't see it for her sister. She's left her not one damn thing in the Will. The story is interesting so far.

It is slow moving. The story isn't flowing like some of this author's previous books.

After swearing off this series, I'm giving it another try.

This book is frustrating for many reasons. I'm kind of looking forward to it ending.

I tried to read this book once before and it was a struggle. I'm going to give it one more try.

Whew! This book is slow. Might have to abandon it. Especially if my copy of Barracoon: The Story of the Last Black Cargo, shows up before I finish.

This is a really good read, but life has definitely prevented me from finishing it.

I have thoughts, but I'm going to hold them until I finish the book this weekend.

This is a weird place to stop, but I need a break. Am I captivated by the writing? No. But the story is interesting enough.

So far, this book is AMAZING! I will be knocking the rest of it out by Thanksgiving.

Whew! it's slow moving but I'm determined to finish this.
