Once again dire, but I do think I was prepared this time. I'm really interested in where this is going. I can't actually see what comes next, which is always fun.

Wow, it's dire in here. This opening was rapidly giving me The Yellow Wallpaper and venturing into some Her Body and Other Parties, which is to say... the treatment of women in his story, god. It makes sense, I just forgot in between putting a hold out and receiving it. I'll be prepared next time, but I am really enjoying it so far!

I'm really enjoying the messy Queerness of this book. Put a hold on it on a whim and now I'm having a great time. DNF'd Project Hail Mary because I couldn't imagine going back to Grace's POV after being in a Queer one. I'll watch the movie of that... one day.

I'm really enjoying Alex, so much so that I went and checked how many of these there are and pumped my fist when I saw there were two more.

Couldn't get into it back when it came out, but I'm interested to see what's in here this time.

Not often I talk aloud to a book like some people watch sports, but damn. SOMEONE has to cuss out nearly every single parent in this book and I'll do it no problem.
