The bar fight does not make up for it, but it certainly helps. I just wish he would apologize, too. It’s not just her fault, and he said far harsher things to her.

Okay up until chapter 41, everything was okay. Then BAM, conflict for the sake of plot… I was PISSED by the uncharacteristic cruelty of the MMC in chapter 41, but what makes me ANGRIER is the fact that it is implied that the FMC is the one who needs to apologize. Yes, she is not entirely innocent, but damn dude way to bring a gun to a knife fight (and then expect an apology from the one you shot)….

This man has dated practically every female character except the bride… honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out they dated, too 🤪

Ugh I hate the miscommunication/lying trope. She’s in law school.. don’t you think she’d be smarter than this?

I love this book and this series and these characters and this world so much that I don’t want it to end and I’m also at a really sad part and I don’t wanna be sad, so I’m trying not to read much more of this book for now. Believe me, it’s PAINFUL, but I want to savor it and I want to remain blissfully unaware of the trauma that is currently happening between the MCs…

It pains me to wait until the end of this book to comment on it...

I’ve been putting this book off for so long in fear of the heartbreak and devastation I know awaits me… here’s to the start of spring break 🥂
