Drudgery. I finished it solely because its a "classic" novel. I cannot see why. The characters were wooden, the settings and storyline implausible, the outvomes expected but ridiculous. But hey! I read A

This book is awful. The characters have no redeeming traits, the circumstances of each “act” are utterly ridiculous, its plodding and just keeps going. I am still reading because its “a classic” but I cannot think why.
