Started slow for me as an audiobook, but has picked up. This book has given me dog anxiety. I’m so worried about the dog not getting the love he deserves.

Wow. This book is intense.

Ugh. Started out good. Now I’m annoyed. Why do I keep choosing books with such unlikeable characters? Send help!

Interesting so far. Main character seems like a real, complex person. She’s not entirely likable.

Magical realism romance is a good distraction from the news. So far, this is a sweet book.

Very interesting and well-written, but maybe read this one. The audiobook narration by the author is flat. She has a lovely voice that doesn’t rise above the sound of sadness.

I hate saying that.

I hate MLMs with a passion.. I’d prefer not to offend people if MLMs are their jam. But, this book is reinforcing my hate.

I lived in the epicenter of MLM-land and I can’t tell how many times I thought I was making a friend and they were just inviting me to a party to make a sale. Longtime friends inviting me to a Pampered Chef party is absolutely fine. Befriending me to sell to me? No good.

My luck with reading material has changed! This is the third good book in a row.

Makes me regret giving up history.
