I would be enjoying this series more if I hadn’t felt so sure in the first and second books that Megan and Paul were going to end up together…

I’m overall really enjoying this series, but Daisy’s piss-poor attitude and sulking at the beginning of this book are very irritating.

The male MC is pretty chauvinistic, which is probably an authentic quality, given who he is, but not very appealing.

I really don’t know what to think of this book. I thought it was going to be a cozy mystery with an amateur sleuth, but it’s more of a romantic suspense, maybe? The book description is strange in that it’s basically a summary of the book up until the climax and gives away a lot of the plot points up front.

I was already uncomfortable with the fat phobia in this book. Then came: “The woman at the register in the drug mart was old. Lucy felt sorry for her.” Um, what?

I think there’s a whole chapter misplaced?

Gosh, this is tedious and mediocre. Hard to believe I really enjoyed the first couple books in the series.

Oh, a racist “joke,” too. Bummed I bought most of the series in paperback.

So far we have some homophobia and the villainizing of someone with OCD. Also, who has “no time to get dressed” and ends up going out in a chinchilla coat with a nightgown underneath? If you have time to dig out the coat, you have time to throw on a dress.

Close to DNFign. The concept is interesting, but the writing is careless. I wish the author had sat with this project longer, maybe had more/better feedback and editing.

I don’t know if I can get past them referring to her group of friends as the “Girlz.”

Wow, this is tedious! And I don’t love the Evil Other Woman plot thread. Honestly not sure I’m going to finish.

I'm not sure i can finish this. A character just ate brie and jam on a "tartin" (tartine, I'm guessing?) as an appetizer at a fancy cocktail party.

So many glowing reviews--I should have been suspicious! I pretty much hate the main characters, and I find it really ironic that the author writes the ex as being stupid by having her misuse vocabulary when there are SO MANY typos, missing words, syntax errors and (yes) word misusages in this book! Not sure I'm going to finish this one.
