Everyone thinks this author is self-absorbed - she might be, just a touch, but I'm enjoying the back and forth chapters between "a personal scent history" and "interviews with perfume luminaries/inside look into the industry".
Agreed with another review that the latter is where she shines, which thankfully is more prominent in the mid-late stages of the book (imo).
