I like the idea of this book (gods are telling stories on trial), but it's kinda boring. The narrators for the audiobook are really good, though!

Okay... I'm having a lot of fun with how spicy and ridiculous this is. HOWEVER, why oh why does it have FOOTNOTES?! I love that these authors love their characters so much that they've created lore about them that they put in footnotes, but it really messes with my reading flow and is totally unnecessary. 0.o

This is unhinged, but I love it. If you're a Lights Out by Navessa Allen or Butcher & Blackbird by Brynne Weaver girly... you've gotta read this!

Percy Jackson vibes. She follows her ex-bf into the Duat. I'm loving the vibes and the interactions between the characters! Can't wait to see how everything pans out. O.o

I love that he's kind of evil and looks down on humans and is pretending to be a hero, but his idea of evil is taking over the news cycle, so he can be the number 1 hero. I'm dyingggg. XD

Elizabeth Stephens knows how to convince me the MMC doesn't like the FMC, and I love her for that. Like, why is this man thinking, "I can't stand her already." Like brooooo. You're gonna be in love in 50 pages or so. XD Such a fun dynamic!

This is already so cute! I loved the vibes from the get-go. Super cozy fantasy romcom vibes.

My e-arc version only has half the stories that the finished version will have, but I'm really enjoying it so far!

I’m falling asleep in the middle afternoon while I sit up reading this so… that’s a bad sign, right?

But what if Rory wasn't an overprivileged mess and Logan was... kinda the same but less cocky? Lol. And they investigate a potential art scam for the school newspaper. And fall in love... I AM LIVING.

I like the story, but for some reason audiobooks have been slow going for me lately.

I'm still waiting for something interesting to happen...

I feel like I must be missing something here… from the jump this book was so confusing! I didn’t understand the slang or references and I felt like I was running to catch up—from the BEGINNING. Also, there will be a line of dialogue, 3 paragraphs of explanation, and then a responding line of dialogue…? How confusing! It’s probably going to be a DNF.

Kinda basic writing, but it’s easy to fly through, so that’s a win I guess.

Not gonna lie, I’m kinda bored. The cover is misleading and I don’t think people are going to be satisfied with how little “lady knight-ing” we see in this book.

This is literally so unserious and fun. Having a ballllll.

I want to love this. I want to shout from the rooftops how good it is, but the writing simply doesn't make sense. There is no sense of time passing, and they just appeared inside this heavily guarded building? How did they get in there?! These explanations are necessary.

This book isn't super engaging, but the plot is good. Forward moving. The audiobook narrator is nice. The book doesn't have me needing to know what happens next, but when I put it on, I'm interested in what's happening.

Our MC is a lawyer who is helping a rich rich family through a divorce. The family is worth billions of dollars, but the dad is saying they’re worth millions and is trying to scam his (ex)wife and grown children out of money. I love Gossip Girl and reality tv, so this is right up my alley!

Girlllll Boulley knows how to WRITE. Of course, loving her previous 2 books, I knew that... but the way she has me hooked from the first page?! So so talented. Still don’t know why our MC is being HUNTED and people are trying to KILL her, so I’m locked IN.
