Book 7 part 2 -
Owen and Clara meet under dire circumstances. This one was action packed and had other characters in it from previous stories. It definitely doesn’t wrap up the story, but gives some insight into it. The only issue I had was not knowing how Owen became employed in Rossi’s crazy world. On to the last story.

Book 7 -
Vadik and Andrea are an odd fit. A hardcore Russian mercenary and a sweet, sassy easy smiling Texas woman are not the ideal people to go on an undercover mission with just days or know each other. They knew it was dangerous, but the reward is worth the risk if they can pull it off. I loved the little we got to see of their personalities.

Book 6 -
Maggie and Luther’s story is getting closer to the monster. He is a loner and she is a tech genius. After some of her team try to get his attention, Maggie is the only one that succeeds, even if he thinks she’s a pain. He thinks he needs the monster, but she will prove him wrong. They are all that much closer to completing the mission.

Book 5 - Alex and Juliana are on fire from the minute they are alone. She is completely different than her normal persona and he loves it. The magick comes into play and he can barely fight it. She doesn’t want to risk her father’s anger but so,etching about Alex makes her want him in her life. I loved seeing more of the team again, but it is ever changing since 1 by 1 they are each finding their mate.

Undertones by Xyla Turner
I loved this story!! One of my favorites in the anthology! Bianca goes from meek/mild to sassy. Travis goes from arrogant to broody to loving. I enjoyed their dynamic and they were super HOT together! Will definitely be reading more of her work.

Summer in Paradise by J D Monroe
Noah and Caroline knew each other in high school, but kind of from a distance. They each secretly had a crush on the other, but never knew. Now, into adulthood, their life circumstances put them in the same place. I enjoyed how Noah handled Caroline and her “issues”. When she finally let go, they meshed well together. I loved her best friend too.

Cowboy in Paradise by Hildie McQueen - Curt and Elisa don’t seem like a couple who would suit each other. She hurt him and hurt herself as well when she left him. This one was emotional and easy to read. May cause triggers.

Franklin’s Heart by Olivia Gaines
Overall I enjoyed this story. The way that Franklin loved his wife was something else! Mia isn’t really aware there is a problem because she can’t see past her own wants. The only issue I had was I found it hard to follow the changing of characters there was no definitive way to tell who was “talking” or thinking certain things as it would switch often.

A Game of Hearts by Tigris Eden - Zori is sure of what she wants, or so she thinks. Mateo has known and been working toward his goal for some time. They are best friends and they end up going on vacation together. They are HOT together! I love this fantasy world that provides them with their fantasy!
