That said, I'm happy to see these young people. The sexism and the bigotry briefly inspired some satisfying righteous indignation. I'm intrigued already to know just what Lakota is up to. And what will happen with the store.

There are always too many secrets amongst colleagues. Still, it's a good story.

I'm engaged. Been engaged since early on in the book.

My reaction is not all good, not all bad. Can't finish tonight. Soon as I do tomorrow, I'll start the next one.

It was good to get to the necessary details of Raven's history. It's darker than I would have guessed, though no surprise there.

I'm definitely pulling for Christian.

I like the twists. But, it does seem to be moving slower than I would like. I guess I'm just impatient.

I like the story line. Definitely engaging. Can't say much but I am engaged with how things are playing out. I want to know if I've figured out the crux of the situation.

Another audiobook, as were the other books N listened to in Dannika Dark's Mageri collections. It's early yet but I'm satisfied so far with the packing of the story.

Christian intrigues me still. And, the rest of the characters are easy to follow and are engaging rather than a distraction. The heavy accents notwithstanding.

Major event early in the story. And the group outing gave me opportunity to laugh.

This book i can't seem to listen to fast enough. I have never been so intrigued by a story and where the main character is so very disjointed until she's largely unappealing. At this point I am totally vexed by this woman. At this point I am so very much done. My great reprieve is that there's only one book more to suffer this woman. She's so very weak and arrogant. I absolutely loathe this Franken-character.

I like the story. It progresses nicely, keeping me engaged. Still not a full-on fan of Silver. She is a jarring collection of disjointed character traits. And it distracts me. But, I think this is a me problem.

The action and suspense start early in the book and continue, keeping the pace moving. I appreciate that aspect. More later.

I like it better than the first, so far. Despite the contrived scenarios to fit what must come next, I'm satisfied to continue with the story.

I'm still having trouble attaching to the characters even moving past 50%. FMC is making this interesting storyline tedious. And I guess that's on me; her character is annoying the crap out of me. I'm slogging through in hope that the book and then the rest of the series will get better. And now I'm coming up to a point where I am taking issue with the breed laws. I'm hoping they can make it make sense.
