I don't think I will finish this book

Her name's finally out! I was so over "the woman in the Purple Skirt" popping up in every other sentence. If that happens again, this book's going straight to my DNF pile, and I'm never opening it again. :(

Big Book. But as a Malayali so excited to read this.

She mentioned several influential individuals but was unable to name a powrfull Prime Minister. It is quite remarkable to consider living a life filled with such apprehension until one's final. moments.

"Horrifying" doesn't even begin to cover what's going on.

This book hasn't really grabbed me yet. Am I missing something? Isn't this the one that won the Booker in 2024?
