This is not striking the right balance for me of smut with feels. It easily could too and instead feels kinda forced…but does have the holiday vibes.

This author knows how to write a slow, emotionally touching story. At the same time, their backgrounds have major trigger warnings for the flashbacks.

This bizarre, hilarious, sweet, messy book has me all up in my feels now. I've laughed, scratched my head, wrinkled my nose, and now I'm choked up.

Here I am, hiding everything about myself, and he’s genuinely opening up about his feelings of being overlooked.

There's a chapter from the goat's POV and I honestly love it 😂

Not doing many updates but this is a virgin H who blushes! Plus, he's obsessed with her scent. Both of them are sweethearts.

Curious if the h is going to grow or remain somewhat rigid. She's not exactly likable yet imo.

I love how even though they’ve known each other since they were kids, there’s no pining or any old feelings. They were kind of oblivious to each other as kids so this attraction and curiosity as adults is new and intriguing, but also layered on some knowledge of who the other is.

Two years of flirting with zero reciprocity, and yet, like a fool, I haven’t given up. I’ve harbored the delusion that one day, Charlie will see me as more than her competitor or the guy who annoys her.

She’s a lil blind when it comes to danger and limitations but her initiative is there at least!

“Right.  Legos.  So, we need to steal a duckling from Legoland.  Sounds doable.”

I’m glad I read friends’ helpful reviews so I knew what to expect from the prologues. A little bit of heartache to start the book and lay down the complicated foundation between the H and h.

Haven't been able to start anything new this week so thank goodness Abigail Kelly released this delightful short story on its own!

This is cute but it has a lot of internal thoughts and unnecessary details bogging it down…

As much as I’m digging this, this author always injects some head shaking things in her books. Lots of throbbing and dampness all over and now a spontaneous climax while getting a hug 🤔😂
