Made it to the second half. They tell me this is where something happens.

This book is trying my patience. It's probably my dogged stubbornness that prevents me from leaving it unfinished.

Oof. I hope this gets better soon. So far I don't see the appeal. Also, way too many characters to keep track of, and it's often hard to know who is speaking lines of dialogue since Austen frequently fails to clarify. Oh well. I'll keep at it.

To balance my reading of "Pride and Prejudice" I am also reading this book about a manly man doing manly things. Can't be too careful.

Well, let's see what all the fuss is about.

Remember the old "ABC After School Specials"? That's what this feels like.

Depressing and full of foul and damaged teenagers. I don't think I like this book.
