I have been trying out a new book tracking app called pagebound and I really like it. The two gals that are the founders/programmers are active in the community. So far this is one of the best books I have read in the last 12 months. I have been in an extreme reading slump. Nothing has been able to grab me for more than a few chapters until this one.

Was debating whether or not to re-read book one, but I’m happy to say that EJ Noyes does a great job recapping what happened in book, one in the prologue and chapter 1.

The last sentence of chapter 6 has me cackling😂😂😂

An unusual choice for me, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I can understand the appeal. It’s silly and smutty, and the heroine is sassy.

DNF 32%. Something ain’t vibing for me. How the characters are described and how that act seem to be opposites.

😂 I like this heroine. She’s sassy.

Hilariously melodramatic. Everyone is hostile for no reason. The main vampire MC threatens everyone with death. Gets off the phone and smashes it breaking the screen for no reason. Opens a door by slamming it against the wall - again for no reason. So. Over. The. Top.

Half the time horse puts itself away in the barn. I would like to know where to sign up for a self-parking horse.

I am loving and dreading this read. I just know something bad is gonna happen and I hate it. lol.

sorry for all the "want to read" spam. i kinda went down a rabbit hole on the free books in amazon.

Just scrolling thru the free reads on Amazon and came across this title: Saved By Her Velvet Thong (Billionaire Lesbian Romance Series Book 1) and I soooo wanted it to be at least cheesy good but the reviews are not promising. Oh well. Still, the title gave me a good chuckle.

I remember reading this a million years ago when I was desperate for anything that had even a "hint" of Sapphic-ness. I forgot what a good story teller Jacqueline Carey is and OMG... the narration is AMAZING.
