Alright, Goodreaders used to the new book profiles - how do I add a re-read date for books?

Hey romance readers - do you use romance.io as a website? I just discovered it yesterday and noted my books aren't up to date. Trying to figure out if I should get that sorted out right away, or if it's not as time sensitive. I've got a million other things on the agenda, and want to gauge priority level.

It's Romance Week! So here's my romance question for you. What romance elements/premise have you NOT seen that you would love to?

Goodreads still of the opinion that if I go to Home on my kindle it means I read the book I was on.

Y'all, I'm still on my Regency reading kick. 18 in a row. And I have 5 checked out from the library. But I'm about to start the proofreading pass of my contemporary, so that will bring me back to the modern world!

So after finishing Throne of Glass I felt that emptiness of a great series missing from my life, and I wanted to revisit the first ACOTAR book to see how it played out a second time. I'm still early on, and I'm not enjoying it more than I did the first time around, but I can see how the beginning is a strong way of positioning her so that we can see a larger growth arc. Can't wait to get to the parts I loved!

So right now I'm in a series phase, and I only want to be reading books in series I've already started. Specifically, series that aren't going to have the next book coming any time soon... this feels like it's not going to work out too well for me! lol

Is anyone else having issues where Goodreads claims you've finished a book you're currently reading? That's happened to me three times now.

First chapter of my latest project is completed. After spending months in revision only mode, and then weeks in plotting mode, it sure is nice to be in writing mode again!

In the end I decided not to bump up my Goodreads challenge to a higher number, because I do want to keep it at 150 in future years. But with part-time employment and not enough of my own writing work this year, I finished my challenge! Now it's time to set aside the reading and get back to the writing. Or rather, revising. :o

Submitted the Christmas rom com, revising the time jump paranormal, and trying to get through the books I checked out from KU months ago. Then I can check out a bunch of new ones to not read for months. LOL.

I've got my Christmas rom com fully done, so now I'm working on revising the first Pirate Ghosts novel. I've done 2 or 3 passes on the historical portion of the book, but I need to do one more. I'm hoping this time is the charm!

Late New Year's resolution: Review books right after I finish reading them! Now I just need to keep going back and writing ones I didn't before...

Currently reading seven books. Three of which are box sets with several more books to go. I am a hot mess when it comes to reading.

Went on a reading bender so decided to increase my challenge from 52 to 100. Don't want to finish too early!

I think I burned out on Caldwell books, so going to take a little break from them. I read a bunch in a row. I'll read other stuff for a few weeks, and then I will finish up this and 15 and have read the Heart of a Duke series.

I'm really hoping Mac decides to stop being a douchebag very soon, because he is not impressing me at all. I'll give this book another chapter or two, but it may be my first DNF by Nicholas.

Thursday night I finished writing my eleventh novel. Feels damn good! Still looking for a few beta readers. Treasured by the Pirate starts in the 1710's with Iain and Colette finding love before tragedy strikes, and then jumps to modern day where ghost Iain meets a reincarnated Colette and tries to form a new relationship while they work together on a series of Caribbean cruises featuring pirate ghosts.

Read the English series and Brooks Winslow. But I'm trying to chill out my spending and I have two books on KU to get through, so the rest of the Winslows will have to wait!

Finished Chapter 33 in Treasured by the Pirate, and after writing this book for six and a half months I am ready to be done. I usually max out at four months for one book, so this is a long time to still be working on something! Going to try really hard to get the final 5 chapters done in quickly so I don't burn out.

I'm looking for Romance reviewers. Small town contemporary or chick lit/romantic comedy or paranormal. Message me if interested.
