This one has been a slow start for me, but we're getting somewhere.

Never have I ever read a book that did such a 180. I'm literally rolling my eyes. I don't really even want to finish it

Hmmm did this just get weird and off-putting? Time will tell!

I spent so long wishing for all of the characters to converge and now that they have there are just too many characters and I miss getting page time with all my crushes. A couple of paragraphs of Karsa and naught but passing mentions of Anomander Rake. This book is thus far bereft of hot men.

I'm obsessed with this. Homegirl is basically doing The Sims rags to riches challenge after she got isekai-ed into her favorite grimdark fantasy world. Oh, and she can't die!

This is so bleak I believe it is actively harming my wellbeing!
I will finish though

DNF at 20% , should have done it sooner. I liked First Lie Wins but I haven't cared about a single second of this.

Back on my audiobook bullshit now that I'm caught up on Critical Role! I'm enjoying the writing here so far (I think) but having this read by the author was a poor choice. Fiction narration is a skill! Not everyone has that skill, even if they are a talented actor!

These books really have me just accepting anything. I'm like oh yeah of course you can't talk to your ghost friends anymore, they live inside your sword now, and based on the other swords we've been inside, this is kind of a big deal
