I have a lot of thoughts but right now the main one being I think this is mid-marketed as a thriller/horror and would do much better categorized as literary fiction with elements of horror/thriller. It’s so clear that the commentary on society’s obsession and ugliness with The Boy/Idol as a mirror is the thesis of this work.
