Isaac and Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files would make great friends

I just learned that one of my favorite book series has not been given a greenlight by the publishers for the fourth and final book. This is the worst book related news I have ever had.

It's amazing how impatient I get waiting for the next book when there's a cliffhanger as opposed to how patient I am when there isn't a cliffhanger.

Wow. I have 250 friends on Goodreads. When did that happen?

Just for fun, I'm going to not check my goodreads messages for an entire week to see how many I get. I won't check them until 10 pm next Saturday.

I love finding out that I picked up a book on its release date and didn't know it.

I'm kind of...umm...FREAKING!!! OUT!!! right now because I just found out that Rick Riordan (my fav author!) is coming on tour to a location 20 MINUTES!!! away from my house!! I can see him for the second year in a row! And I don't have to miss school this year (last year I had to drive three hours to see him). So yeah...TFMO!!!

That weird moment when you get recommendations from Goodreads in Arabic because you added Harry Potter books....

That annoying moment when you go to the bookstore for three books and only walk out with one because the order for another hasn't arrived yet at the store and the other ohe won't be released until Thursday because the release date you found on the internet of March 29th is apparently for another country grrr

How have I NEVER heard of this stuff before?

Anyone think I can read two more books before my school starts on the 20th?

Every mail truck I see is taunting me.
