why are the bridesmaids paying for everything, is that normal?

I appreciate what the author is trying to do here but there's a whole lot of nothing happening. I still enjoy it but looking back at the first half of the book I'm like "Wait a minute, what even really happened so far?"

Very, very heavy and while creepy less of a gothic story than expected

Hi I'm trying to not buy any new books until my tbr pile is at least half its size, wish me luck.

I'm here for everything about this but why did the author choose to write the 35-year-old MC as the worst manchild in history, oh my god. 30 pages in and I wish the pirates HAD thrown him overboard.

Also, the writing style reminds me of fanfiction (derogatory)

I'm re-reading all three of these instead of starting a new book and you can't stop me

Romantasy not told from first person POV set in a Victorian inspired world? Nature is healing?

Ich merke gerade, dass ich finde, dass Schauerromane auch mal lustig sein dürfen. <3

Wieso sind die schon in Paris angekommen, aber es geht noch fast die Hälfte weiter? Angst.

Absolut wild, wie ähnlich Anto einer Freundin ist, die ich tatsächlich in den frühen 2000ern hatte. Dieses Buch ist 100% millenial nostalgia, aber in düster. Ich mags.

Die Perspektive der 10-jährigen hätte ich jetzt nicht gebraucht, die liest sich sehr gezwungen, aber ansonsten finde ich cool, die Handlung aus der Sicht so vieler verschiedener Reisender im Zug zu sehen.

Ich bin für den Trickbetrüger-Plot hier. Einiges an Klischees, aber bisher total unterhaltsam.
