Die Perspektive der 10-jährigen hätte ich jetzt nicht gebraucht, die liest sich sehr gezwungen, aber ansonsten finde ich cool, die Handlung aus der Sicht so vieler verschiedener Reisender im Zug zu sehen.

Ich bin für den Trickbetrüger-Plot hier. Einiges an Klischees, aber bisher total unterhaltsam.

I love this so much, historical fiction is kind of dead lately but this reminds me of how it used to beee.

Macht etwas, das ich sehr liebe: Es nimmt echte Geschichte und füllt die Unbekannten mit Fiktion aus - In diesem Fall auch sehr spannend und gekonnt.

Auf Spotify gefunden. Wenn es sich nicht so ernst nimmt, könnte das echt unterhaltsam werden, ich bin gespannt.

Apparently my copy decided to leave me. I can't find it anywhere so I just got a paperback edition to finally finish it 🤡

Also, vorsichtig gesagt, ist das hier eine sehr niedrigschwellige Herangehensweise an die Belle Époque. Sehr viel Infodump zu allen Straßen, Gebäuden, Gerichten, Getränken. Und ein paar mehr Klischees als nötig.

Ich lese das Genre eigentlich nicht mehr, aber an dem Setting in der Epoche kann ich nicht vorbeigehen. Ein Hoch auf Hörbücher, damit probiere ich es jetzt mal.

This isn't even set there and she's still in Ireland but I already wanna go back to Sarajevo ...

Susanne Goga ist einfach der MVP für diese Epoche, die Vibes sind immer on point.

I'm rereading my favourite book and you can't stop me.

I enjoy this a lot, I just wish it was less rambly in places. This could be such a gut punch without the rambling.
