Slow going, no clear impressions other than a cloud of confusion that surrounds me whenever I open the book…not in what is happening, it’s not a difficult read so far, but just a vague unease that is not pleasant.

I have never started a wildly divisive book with genuinely no idea what side I will end up on. Excited either way…

Alright Bret, here we go again, don’t make me regret this please…

This is already one of the greatest things I’ve ever read. I’m taking it about twenty times slower than usual to savor this one. My reading challenge for the year will not be met because of this book, and I don’t care in the slightest. Reading it episodically, as it is written. Pynchon is immortal.

Here we go, last big one…
