Not big on this particular genre of fantasy nor am I a big gamer whatsoever (don't game like at all) but so far I am pleasantly surprised! Carl is very funny and thankfully (for both our sake and his) a very competent character. Excited to see where this goes!

Wow, this is getting really, really good. Am I mad at myself for not picking it up sooner? Yeah kinda am but I'm happy that I picked it up now lmao

Yeah okay, I get the hype and I get where the librarian (the person I got this rec from) was coming from when he said I might enjoy it. Shout out William lol. I just really love these kind of books that have a slightly textbook-y feel because of the footnotes and just the stories are fantastic and I just LOVE the narrator voice, it's like this perfect level of dry humour and it's absolutely fantastic

My kobo is showing that there are only 833 pages so idk what that's about lol. Anyways, I was in between books because it's January and that means I'm usually in a weird reading mood and nothing is sticking but the librarian at my job who I've talked to in length about Sanderson recommended this to me when he came back from his break and he said he really liked it and I fear I trust that man with my life lol

Oof, this is so good but I really have to pace myself. I also want to switch to my e-reader so bad but I am also filming reactions and I'm kinda scared that something is gonna be dropped on us twist wise as is a Sanderson move and I will be in bed lmao and will not want to get up and film on my phone lol. Really enjoying it so far! QOTD from my cousin: "1329 pages? That's like what 5 business days for you?"

Back when I read Stormlight first time around, I stopped at 50% through Oathbringer. Audiobook is 11/10 and I'm really enjoying it

I know I keep saying it's a re-read but that's only because I don't want ppl being like "how are you reading it so fast????" lmao
Most insane reveals I think are partly in this book and I can't reveal them (lol) because then it's spoilers.

Okay so I just started this and I heard a booktuber say that their friend left a scathing review because of the mental health rep being awful so I was already wary (first I'd ever seen this book mentioned like ever) but also I get it because why did Cady's parents let her come home all happy and not call her to tell her that her brother fricking DIED? I would be so, SO angry on her part.

This is so good so far! Obviously I know the stories but it's highly accessible for those that don't know the stories!

This one is so good guys, sequel comes out in the fall, oh my god
