Omg how did so many people read this book before audiobooks?!? And how do so many people like it?? This book unabashedly romanticize's the south n confederacy n enslaving people. It's just unbelievable the pages n pages of pure propaganda. This book needed serious editing. The horrible characters can be such hypocrites in their choices, I don't know if that is lazy writing or what.
