In a reading rut driven by the clash between my need for comfort and my craving for depth.

Struggling to finish. The shift change (pun intended) between the beginning— and the book’s summary —to right after they fuck is jarring, and honestly boring. I expected the summary I was interested in to be relevant for more than 22% of the book.

If you see me reading queer holiday romance exclusively, mind ya business.

I don’t know why I thought I’d be able to stop reading this book to go to bed at a reasonable time, but I was wrong. I’m always wrong.

I know what this looks like, but I’m almost 70% in and there has been no penetrative boinking. It’s like, really cute 🥹
