Good start! Big creepypasta vibes and I mean that positively. A couple moments I found really creepy already - I wish I could stay up later to keep reading

"Hinterlands" Getting a little Lovecraftian with it! This one was kind of horrible, which I enjoyed

"Red Star, Winter Orbit" almost comfortingly mundane after "Hinterlands" interesting and an easy read, but lacking punch for me

"The Belonging Kind" I like this one a lot! I've been reading a lot of Laird Barron lately and this was less grotesque and nasty, but it still evoked some of the same feelings of Barron's "The Broadsword" or other stories about creatures masquerading as humans

"Fragments of a Hologram Rose" the ASPs here had to have been a huge influence on Strange Days (1995)

"The Gernsback Continuum" a weird one! Call me a plebe but this did a lot less for me than the first story. No one even exploded and there was no marine life on drugs anywhere

"Johnny Mnemonic" THAT WAS FUCKING DOPE. CYBERPUNK OWNS

"Shiva, Open Your Eye" - starts out as a compelling cat-and-mouse style confrontation between a private investigator and a man he suspects of being involved with a number of disappearances, but shifts halfway through to a markedly more contemplative, Ligottian philosophical jaunt still oozing cosmic horror. More meandering than "Old Virginia" but full of really lush prose

First story "Old Virginia" had a great atmosphere. The mix of cosmic horror and cold war spy fiction was really cool. Curious if anything here is going to tie into The Croning, but I suppose I'm getting a little ahead of myself

One part here has me actually going "whoa holy shit" out loud. That was cool
