We find out that Lestat is a mummy’s boy. Also about the life he had before and shortly after being turned as a vampire. And that you cannot trust everything in book 1.

An hour in and I’m only starting to recognise what this book is about, or am I? Parents who have lost their child.

Funnily enough, I wasn’t expecting it to be about that. I thought it was about a child who was somehow connected to a killer in the past, who was speaking through the child.

Now I’m a bit lost. I feel like I should be watching this. It has “Alan Wake” vibes. Nothing is how it seems.

If you’ve watched the story about the Zodiac killer, this story feels similar to that documentary in a way. It’s scary to think how easy it was for killers to get away with certain actions.

Hard to listen to. More so than listening about serial killers.

It should be similar to the books by the Playboy mansion girls, but this one gets under your skin. A little bit like the difference between watching a movie and knowing it happened in real life. Not that the other girls’ story was fake, but this one feels more real.

Not bad. I like it.

I bought this for about £3, whilst I was a member on Audible. I love dramatisations for those sleepless nights. It worked, it made me drift off.

I was hooked with the opening of this book. It was exactly what I needed, as I too might be moving to France!

The book is designed to make you feel a little better, as I was feeling exhausted with life. It reminded me of what my dreams are and that I still have to make an effort with that if I’m ever going to see any results in the future. And also that life can be scary sometimes.

The book so far is ok, but I put it down and just focused on my bullet journal instead.

The start of this book felt like the ending to book 1; Johnny be Good. However, I ended putting this book down as I found a better book called, “The Good Part” by Sophie Cousens. Sorry Paige Toon!

This is my favourite book this year! 5 stars!

It’s my first book from this author, and I absolutely love it!

A couple of hours in and I feel like nothing has happened or will happen any time soon.

I absolutely love the narrator, Susie Berneis. I have listened to two thriller books she’s narrated, and I am back for more. Her voice and performance is one of which I wish more audiobooks had.

5 stars for book 1.

I’m really enjoying this so far! It has similar sound effects to that of “The Downloaded”; another Dolby Audible original.

After watching a thriller movie called “Frozen”, about three people getting stuck on a ski lift, I felt that this had a similar feel to it, as it was set in the middle of the arctic. Feelings of fear that their ship will get stuck there, but with added unusual activity.

I’m half way through book 1 and love it so far! This is the type of chick lit I needed to read. I feel excited about this genre again. Almost as excited as when I first read “Spellbound” by Jane Green.

The book is a great read for our time. Nell tries to keep a gratitude journal, a bit like how Bridget Jones tried to keep a diary of daily entries. You will expect a few laughs from this book!

Not a fan. The message repeats itself saying, “If you want to change your life, it’s up to you”.

I was hoping to have some ideas or science behind a 30 day habit and how that can make an impact on your life.

I’m re-listening to the whole thing again after leaving it too long. There has been something useful to pick up from lesson 1 and in every lesson. Re-listening made me more aware of the small in between joining bits within a sentence, rather than just focusing on each new word presented.

I randomly found this on Audible and wow! I’ve never heard of this author, but so far I’m loving it! Probably because I find it so relatable to my life at the moment.

If you’re a fan of Lindsey Kelk’s iheart series, then you’ll enjoy this audiobook.

I have felt so inspired by this book, I decided to finally make a purchase on some tools for the job and to focus my energy on what books and tutorials that can actually help me.

I have been so distracted with other things within my art journey, it was difficult to see what my heart wanted. Now I feel like I have a plan to complete something that is out of my comfort zone, yet achievable.

I enjoyed the beginning, but not so much when the other actors came into play. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting and the plot felt a little sidetracked. I had to put this book down for a bit and listen to something else.

The relationship with Hope and Lydia feels very much like the relationship Ellie had in “The Last of Us”, which again, makes it feel like a zombie apocalypse.

The most boring man decides to take a wager to travel the world in 80 days. He was not expecting so much excitement. As the railway in India was not finished, they had to travel by elephant. On passing the jungle, they save a woman from being burnt alive. All the while a detective is following them, as he suspects him of being the same man who robbed a bank.

I really enjoyed one of her book’s, “Make Mine Magic”, which I found free when I had an Audible subscription. So I decided to give this one a go. It’s part of a series, so I’m just getting warmed up. I’m enjoying it so far, as it’s nice to be taken away from reality.

Katie is an immune, which means her special ability can help those in the magical world see what’s really there.

I thought I could listen to this in one go, but it’s very much a man’s book. Hence it being my husband’s favourite. I needed a little break from this, as there’s still 43.5hrs remaining.

I was hoping more to have happened by now. It’s about 3 sisters having to live together in their parents house for 3 months, in order to receive their part of their inheritance.

I have listened to the 1st book within this book before, and I am now attempting to give it another shot. I am enjoying it much more this time.

Unfortunately this book gets a 1 star from me.
